    What frustrates me most (also about similar issues in Germany): we’re basically unable to change them – except putting a cross on the ballots every 4-5 years.

    Protesting in public, similar to the #WomensMarch, the protests at JFK yesterday or even #FreiheitStattAngst in Berlin, are only showing an opinion of a group.

    Those protests don’t hinder anyone of doing what they indend to do, e.g. continuing with more oppression against minorities or adding more surveillance, if they don’t decide to change their behavior on their own.

    “GTFO” = “running away” can work and probably does work. E.g., moving from the US to the UK improves ones personal situation, but it probably won’t stay that long, given the current course of actions in the UK.
